12th July 2016: Pond dipping in the village - even with wellies, we still managed some wet feet!

7th June 2016: Year 5 day at Nelson Thomlinson school - a great experience.
We had a great afternoon on the 27th May playing board games to raise money for the NSPCC.

April 2016: 5 & 6 residential visit to Hawse End. What a fantastic few days! We had some lovely comments from Hawse End staff about our well behaved & well mannered children - well done everyone. It was a cold, but fun, experience - we even had snow! Here are some pictures. Enjoy.
April 2016: Some great presentations on our favourite authors - well done.
April 2016: Read for my school is now finished. Well done to all of our readers for getting through a lot of books.
March 2016: World Book Day - some great characters in 5 & 6!!

February 2016
Well done to all the cyclists in Years 5 & 6. Thanks to Cyclewise and Fiona for helping us all get through our bikeability training. Fortunately, the rain stayed away and the roads weren't too busy!

The children enjoyed making steady hand games during their science topic on electricity, although they proved to be more tricky to make than we thought!
January 2016: A new year & a new experience already! Well done to all of the children for competing in Burgh by Sands first ever climbing competition at Eden Rock! A great experience and a lot of sore arms! Brilliant day and some impressive climbing. 
November 2015: Eden Rock (the children have enjoyed their climbing sessions at Eden Rock. There are lots of photographs to browse).
