Burgh by Sands School offers up to 30 hours of free childcare for eligible families of three and four year olds. Burgh by Sands School is a community primary school and therefore, the local authority nursery admissions policy provides the criteria by which applications for oversubscribed classes will be prioritised.
Free entitlement will be offered between the hours of 8.50am to 11.50am and 12.30pm to 3.30pm, term time only, Monday to Friday.
Between 11.50 and 12.30 (lunch-time) Burgh by Sands School will continue to offer wraparound care at £2.50 per session. Families may either provide a packed lunch for their child or purchase an Orian school meal for £2.45. Lunchtime wraparound must be booked on SchoolHub along with a school meal, if required.
