Nursery & Reception

Welcome to our Early Years class.

We have both nursery and reception children learning together during the morning and reception children only in the afternoons. I am Mrs Ryan the Class Teacher and Miss Cook is our Senior Teaching Assistant. Together we support the children in their next steps of learning through a range of independent and adult-led tasks. We use the development matters guidance and have a thought provoking and exciting curriculum. Each individual has their own characteristics of learning which we try to enhance and widen through new experiences and well resourced learning areas. 

We hope to share some of the things we do on our page for you to enjoy.

Ready to start a new term! 

Outdoor learning has been great! Lots of fun working together and independently, developing our physical and cooperative skills. 

At the end of a fabulous half-term we enjoyed some fun Halloween activities. 

Children in Need - We enjoyed the activities planned by Miss Blake and dressing up in spots!
