4th July: Devil's porridge visit. Some good sessions with lots of learning and dressing up! More photos to follow.
20th June: A lovely day at Solway aviation museum with 5 & 6.
16th June: Year 6 in their new leavers hoodies. Where did that year go??
9th June: What a week to start the daily mile. Fortunately the sun came out today (Friday) - it has been a rainy run for the rest of the week. Well done to all of Year 5 & 6 for enthusiasm and determination.
25th May: How time flies! Bikeability week again. Well done to all the Year 5s that participated this week and thank you to Fiona - we certainly got the weather this time.
6th April: Some fantastic biome presentations today. Clear, confident and extremely informative - well done everyone. 
24th March: Some red nose day dancing!
20th March: Year 5 had great fun making carbon dioxide and inflating balloons with it in science today
2nd March: Our world book day characters. 
28th February: Pancake day maths for Year 5.

28th January - 5 a side football tournament at the Sands Centre: An enjoyable afternoon of football. Well done to Hayden, Archie, Jamie, Luke M, Lucy, Ethan and Bobby. Wonderful performances from everyone - you should all be proud of your efforts!

Wednesday 14th December: What a lovely day today. Maths fun in the morning and sock snowmen in the afternoon!
29th November: A fun afternoon at Caldew School taking part in the Sports Hall athletics.
25th November: Thanks very much to Mike from the Cumberland News for not only delivering our papers today, but also for taking time out of his busy delivery schedule to chat to us and answer our questions.

16th November: A fun and challenging day out for Thalia, Oli, Jamie and Luke at the maths challenge day at Caldew school.
16th November: Carlisle Sports Hall Athletics - another good day of exercise and competition - some great performances. A fun morning and well done to all.
10th November: What a team performance at Harraby 3G this afternoon. You should all be very proud of yourselves! 
10th November: I hope you all saw our appearance on national TV last night!! This was filmed on a very hot day in July! If you missed it, you can watch "Black and British" on iplayer (available until 11th December).
7th November: Great excitement this afternoon as we received the first delivery of our newspapers as part of our Reading Passport project. Our only problem was finding the space to read our own copy of The Cumberland News!
October 2016: Fantastic effort from everyone during the cross country trials - impressive running and determination. Well done.
September 2016: A good afternoon for years 5 & 6 in the small schools football tournament - some good results on our first outing as a team. Well done and well played everyone!
