Our red, white and blue tuck shop for the King’s Coronation was a huge success, despite the wind and changes in location. We didn’t want our paper cups blowing away! We enjoyed fruit pots of strawberries and blueberries, strawberry and banana smoothies and strawberry and banana milkshakes. A huge well done to the council members for the idea, and the planning and preparation.

School council members 2022 - 2023 have so far raised money for ‘Children in Need’ and ‘Red Nose Day’. This involved fun activities to inspire donations. They have recited quotes from important figures to celebrate Black History on behalf of the school, at the local church. This was part of a ceremony where a stone was laid to commemorate the first African settlement in our village. The council represented the school amazingly with their confident speaking.
Currently, we are planning a new display at the entrance of our school that welcomes our visitors. We have shared the roles of chair and secretary for the remainder of the year.
