Children in Need

The School Council organised a range of events to help raise money for Children in Need. These included a colourful pyjamas / casual clothes day, guess the sweets in the jar, design a Pudsey competition and a game of bingo! Over £200 was raised throughout the day!!

Today we had an exciting council visit to the Council Chambers in the Civic Centre in Carlisle. Whilst we were there, we were very fortunate to meet the Mayor of Carlisle who told us all about her role and the Council Chambers.

Recently we have elected a new school council within school. They are very excited to get started in their new role! See above for the new representatives for each class!

We organised a healthy tuck shop for playtime today! We made fruit kebabs and sold them with different fruit juices. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them!

Friends of Burgh (F.O.B) asked the council to design a logo for them. We discussed what we wanted to put on the logo, then Euan, Hayden and Joe each created a design. We held a vote and chose our favourite which we then presented it to the Friends of Burgh who were very grateful for our design.

Tuck Shop!

The School decided it would like to have a tuck shop on the last day of every half term. This term, we decided to sell biscuits and juice. We raised £69.40 and as a council, voted to donate it to the Eden Valley Hospice Jigsaw Appeal.

We organised a Film Club, Bake Sale & Non-Uniform Day to raise money for Red Nose Day. A fantastic amount of £276.65 was made!
