Year 5/6 Darts Club - it's the end of a very enjoyable and successful darts club. Great sportsmanship shown from all and lots of fun had (with a couple of darts in the wall!). The league champion was Jay who was unbeaten and received the first ever Burgh-by-Sands School darts club trophy, a big well done to all who joined in (a darts pin badge was given to everyone else). Looking forward to the next one in summer 2020.

Year 5/6 darts club - We are well under way with our darts club. We have been playing practice games such as round the world and knockout, we are also playing singles matches and have a league. Some fantastic darts being played and improvement showing every week.

All children, staff and parents had a lovely morning yesterday for sports day. We even had some lovely sunshine!

A lovely letter has been sent to us, thanking us for all your kind donations to MacMillan Cancer Support, following the sale of our school newspaper. They are going to use the donations locally.

Well done to the winners of our Easter egg competition today 18/4/2019

There were some fantastic decorated Easter egg entries in school today!

We are pleased to be awarded with the ‘Green Flag’ Eco award!

Some of our children enjoyed meeting the Bishop of Carlisle and asking him questions as he walked past our school today.

We have had fun in our science week learning about chicks and looking at the habitats around our school.

Newspaper Club received this lovely letter from The Jigsaw Appeal, thank you for your kind donations.
