The plants are growing nicely and we are looking after them well!!

The Early Years outside area has been developed using money raised from the bake sale and Christmas tombola in the Autumn term. We have also received a very kind donation to buy plants and pots for the children to take care of.

During Eco club we have been planting tomatoes, carrots, lettuces and radishes. We also have planted potatoes and courgettes. What a good job we are making keeping the garden nice and tidy! one week we talked about wildlife and did a bird survey around the school grounds as well as a mini beast hunt!

7th April 2017-Well done to everyone who entered the Easter egg competition this week. We had some fantastic entries and well deserved winners!
9th March 2017: 5 a side football at the Sands centre for Years 3 & 4.  What an impressive showing from the team on their first ever event together. Well done! Played 6, won 2, drew 2, lost 2 with plenty of goals scored. Special thanks to Mr Crooks for his help.

We held a tuck shop at playtime on Friday 17th February, to raise money for Patterdale Mountain Rescue. We raised a fantastic amount!

Patterdale Mountain Rescue came to visit our school last Thursday. We had a fantastic discussion about their work and asked some brilliant questions. We also got to see inside one of their vehicles and feel the weight of the bags they carry!
