Welcome to Year 1!

 

Our teachers are Miss Blake and Miss Huck. Miss Gibson is our teaching assistant.

Our topic for this half term is Food Glorious Food!

 

We enjoyed learning about Carroll and Venn diagrams in maths today.

We Love Reading!

This week in literacy we have been looking at instructions. Today we followed a recipe to make fruit kebabs - don't they look delicious!

Today we had a fantastic day at the cocoa bean factory. The pictures are in the gallery section of the website!

Today we went outside to do PE because it was such a beautiful day. Have a look at our fantastic hockey skills!

We really enjoyed our road safety workshop with pyjama drama

We dressed up for Willy Wonka day, don't we look great!

Our Displays are full of our wonderful work in Art, Topic and Literacy!

Mary-Ann made us this fantastic pirate ship cake! It tasted yummy!!

In maths today we used smarties to set up arrays for doing multiplication sums.
